How it began
In 1959, Jan van Dijk Sr and his son Egbert van Dijk founded a confectionery wholesale supplier. At first, it was a modest business, situated in their family home in Kampen, but thanks to their experience in the confectionery industry, the company grew fast. In the same year, the company acquired a warehouse to be able to meet demand. The company further expanded in 1979 and 2008, with Van Dijk Wholesale moving into larger headquarters in Eckertstraat in Kampen. In the summer of 2017, a large-scale and climate-neutral distribution centre was added.
