The confectionery component of our company goes back a long time. Our family began selling confectionery back in 1959. At the time, the company was operated from the Van Dijk family home, by Egbert and Jan van Dijk (Maurice’s father and grandfather), but after a few months’ successful trading, they purchased their first warehouse in Groenestraat. The company grew into a family business, characterised by a personal touch and genuine service. After running the company from Handelsstraat in Kampen for over 29 years, Van Dijk Wholesale moved to Eckertstraat in 2008. We still sell a lot of sweets from that address today.
